بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، ثَلَاثًا، وَقُلْ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ

'Uthman b. Abu al-'As (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he complained to Allah's Messenger ﷺ about a pain in his body which had developed since he embraced Islam. Allah's Messenger ﷺ said to him: Place your hand on the part where you feel pain in your body and say: Bism ill-Allah (In the name of Allah) three times, and say seven times: A'udhu bi'llahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru (I seek refuge in Allah and His Power from the evil of what I feel and I am apprehensive of).
