Dua for Relief from Chronic Illness

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, [a healing] that leaves no disease behind.

Allahumma Rabb an-nas, adh-hibil-ba's, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifaa'an la yughadiru saqama.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that when a person complained to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about pain in his body, he ﷺ said: 'Place your hand where you feel pain and say: Allahumma Rabb an-nas, adh-hibil-ba's, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifaa'an la yughadiru saqama.' (O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, [a healing] that leaves no disease behind.)
