Source & Authentication
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what has been revealed to me today is that I have been stung by a scorpion. He said: As for if you had said, when evening came: **'Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem'** (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth nor in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing), it would not have harmed you.' So Abu Hurairah started saying it after that.
