بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this dua three times in the morning, will not be afflicted by any calamity unexpectedly until the evening. And whoever says it three times in the evening, will not be afflicted by any calamity unexpectedly until the morning.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 3866). This hadith clearly indicates comprehensive protection against unforeseen calamities, which certainly includes infectious diseases, offering immense peace of mind and spiritual security to those in demanding professions like healthcare.

Narrated by Aban bin Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: 'My father (Uthman bin Affan) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'There is no servant who says in the morning of every day and the evening of every night: 'Bismillah alladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing) – but Allah will protect him from whatever might harm him.'
