‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: When any person among them had a complaint, Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) would say to them: ‘Our Lord Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth! Our Lord Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth! Our Lord Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth! Cure his (this person’s) illness and make him (this person) satisfied with the life as he is.’ ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) added: I asked Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ): ‘Should I not make a request to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)?’ He said: ‘The best of the physicians is Allah, the best of the advisors and the most truthful of the callers is Allah, the Most High.’ And in another narration: When Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) visited a patient, he would say: ‘O Allah, Lord of the people! Remove the trouble, heal him as You are the Healer. There is no healing but the one You bestow, aG healing that does not leave any sickness behind.’
