O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and oppressed by men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal.

Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive dua covers key areas of human struggle. By seeking refuge in Allah from distress (hamm) and sorrow (hazan), we acknowledge that He is our ultimate source of comfort. It also helps to guard against inner states like weakness and idleness (ajz and kasal), fear and miserliness (jubn and bukhl), and external pressures like overwhelming debt and the oppression of others (ghalabatid-dayn wa qahrir-rijal). It empowers the believer by seeking protection from burdens that can lead to deep despair and the heavy silence of hopelessness.
