O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabad-dayni wa qahrir-rijali.

How to Read
Raise your hands, as one would when making supplication. Utter the words sincerely, focusing on the meaning and the act of entrusting your worries to Allah. Believe that He is the ultimate solver of problems and the one who can lift burdens. Repeat this dua regularly, especially in the difficult moments following a betrayal.
Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive dua addresses multiple sources of distress, including emotional pain (anxiety and sorrow), psychological burdens (helplessness and laziness), character weaknesses (cowardice and stinginess), and external pressures (debt and oppression). By seeking refuge in Allah from these, we acknowledge His power over all things and seek His direct intervention. Experiencing betrayal often brings a unique form of sorrow and a feeling of being wronged ('oppression of men'), making this supplication particularly relevant.
