اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي، وَأَنْ تُعِينَنِي عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ، وَأَنْ تُحْسِنَ عَاقِبَتَنِي، وَأَنْ تُسَلِّمَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، وَأَنْ تُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رِزْقِي، وَأَنْ تَكْفِيَنِي مِنْ سُؤَالِ غَيْرِكَ.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your slave woman. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief and the driver away of my worries. And that You help me upon obeying You, and that You make my end good, and that You save me from all evil, and that You expand my sustenance, and that You suffice me from asking of anyone other than You.

Narrated Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If any person has stress and grief, and he prays: (Allahumma inni 'abduk, ibnu 'abdik, ibnu amatik, naasiyatii bi-yadik, maadinn fiyya hukmuk, 'adlun fiyya qadaa'uk, as'aluka bi kulli ismin huwa lak, sammaita bihi nafsak, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqik, aw anzaltahu fii kitaabik, aw ista'tharta bihi fii 'ilm il-ghaybi 'indak, an taj'ala al-Qur'aana rabii'a qalbii, wa nuura sadrii, wa jalaa'a huznii, wa dhahaaba hammii, wa an tu'iinanhii 'alaa taa'atik, wa an tuhsina 'aaqibatii, wa an tusallimanii min kulli suu', wa an tuwassi'a 'alayya min rizqii, wa an takfinii min su'aali ghayrik) - 'O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your slave woman.
