The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ taught this dua to Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) when he complained about his inability to pay his debt. The Prophet ๏ทบ advised him to recite this dua in the morning and evening. Narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him): 'A servant of Allah owed some debt to the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him). He did not have the means to pay it back. So he said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am unable to pay my debt.' He (peace be upon him) said: 'Shall I not teach you some words to say, that if you say them, Allah will pay your debt, even if it were as large as Mount Uhud?' Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He (peace be upon him) said: 'Say: ุงููููููู ูู ุงููููููู ุจูุญูููุงูููู ุนููู ุญูุฑูุงู ูููุ ููุฃูุบูููููู ุจูููุถููููู ุนูู ูููู ุณูููุงูู (Allahummakfini bihalalika 'an haramik, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak).' โ Sunan al-Tirmidhi 3563 (Hasan)
