اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan
When to Read
This is a powerful supplication the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would often recite after the Fajr (dawn) prayer. We can adapt this intention and make this dua before starting any new business venture, at the beginning of the workday, or whenever seeking Allah's blessing for our efforts and income.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere intention, raising your hands as is customary for supplication. Focus on the meaning of the words: seeking knowledge that benefits, pure and lawful provision, and deeds that are accepted by Allah. It’s best to say it with conviction, believing that Allah is the ultimate provider and sustainer.
Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive dua covers three essential pillars for success in this life and the hereafter, particularly for those engaged in business.
