O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds and the avoidance of evil deeds, and the love of the poor. And [I ask] that You forgive me and have mercy upon me. And when You intend to test a people, take me [to Yourself] without them to test me. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which draw me closer to Your love.
Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayrat, wa tarkamunkarat, wa hubbal masakin, wa an taghfir li, wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnata qawmin fatawaffani ghaira maftun. As'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka al-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina. (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness.)' And he used to supplicate: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka mubassiratul-huda, wa jannat-taqa, wa mufakkiral-ghina, wa ilaa-l-falaah, wa minash-shara-i kullihaa, wa an taghfir li dhunubi, wa arhamni. Wa an taradini birizqi, wa barik li fima razaqtani, wakhluf 'alayya kulla ghaibatan li bi khair.' (O Allah, I ask You for the sight of guidance, the shield of piety, the mind of richness, success, and refuge from all evil. And forgive me my sins and have mercy on me. And make me content with my provision, and bless me in what You have provided for me, and replace for me what is lost with good.)' And he used to supplicate: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayrat, wa tarkamunkarat, wa hubbal masakin, wa an taghfir li, wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnata qawmin fatawaffani ghaira maftun.
