O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, helplessness and laziness, cowardice and stinginess, the burden of debt, and the overpowering of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fu'ja'i niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-hammi wal-hazani, wal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa dala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.
