O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming burden of debt and the subjugation of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijali.

By seeking refuge in Allah from overwhelming debt ('ghalabatid-dayn') and the subjugation of people ('qahrir-rijali' – which can manifest as being controlled or humiliated due to debt), we are actively asking Allah to safeguard our financial well-being and our dignity.
