There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living, never to die. In His hand is all good, and He is Omnipotent over all things.

Narrated by Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever enters the marketplace and says: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu yuhyi wa yumeetu wa huwa Hayyun la yamoot, biyadihil-khairu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer. (There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living, never to die. In His hand is all good, and He is Omnipotent over all things.) Allah will write for him a thousand thousand (one million) good deeds, and will erase from him a thousand thousand (one million) evil deeds, and will raise him a thousand thousand (one million) degrees, and will build for him a house in Paradise.'
