O Allah, grant us abundant, righteous, pure, and beneficial provision, without hardship or toil, without any impurity in our wealth, and without need of anyone from Your creation.
Allahumma ijal rizqan wasi'an salihan tayyiban nafi'an min ghayri kaddin wa la nasabin wa la zakatin fi malin wa la hajatin ila ahadin min khalqik
When to Read
This dua is excellent for reciting after Fajr prayer, or at any time you feel the need to ask Allah for blessings in your provision. It's particularly powerful when made with sincere intention for your family's well-being, seeking sustenance that is not only plentiful but also righteous and pure, free from any ill-gotten means or dependence on others.
How to Read
Recite this dua with full conviction in Allah's ability to provide. Ensure your heart is present and focused on the meaning of the words. Raise your hands as you supplicate, a gesture of humility and reliance on your Lord. It is best to be in a state of wudu (ablution) when making dua, though it's not a strict condition. Imagine your household filled with Allah's blessings as you make this supplication.
Virtues & Benefits
This supplication encompasses a comprehensive request for provision. It asks for 'rizqan wasi'an' (abundant provision), 'salihan' (righteous provision) which means it's lawful and free from doubt, 'tayyiban' (pure and good), and 'nafi'an' (beneficial). Crucially, it seeks provision 'min ghayri kaddin wa la nasabin' (without hardship or toil), meaning it should come with ease. Furthermore, asking for it to be 'without any impurity in our wealth' (la zakatin fi malin) emphasizes seeking lawful earnings that don't require purification due to questionable sources. The final part, 'and without need of anyone from Your creation' (wa la hajatin ila ahadin min khalqik), is a profound request for self-sufficiency granted by Allah, preserving one's dignity and honor. This dua is a beautiful way to seek Allah's help in establishing a household that is sustained by blessings and free from worry and need.

Narrated Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'When a man says: 'Allahumma ijal rizqan wasi'an salihan tayyiban nafi'an min ghayri kaddin wa la nasabin wa la zakatin fi malin wa la hajatin ila ahadin min khalqik' (O Allah, grant us abundant, righteous, pure, and beneficial provision, without hardship or toil, without any impurity in our wealth, and without need of anyone from Your creation), the angels will say: 'And it shall be so for you.' (This hadith is Hasan due to corroborating chains, found in Musnad Ahmad).
