The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever says: *A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq* (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created), will be protected from all harmful things until he moves to another place.' This was said to him by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when seeking refuge from an insect bite. Umm Khalid bint Khalid ibn Sālim said: I went with my father to the Prophet ﷺ and he was wearing a woolen garment with some marks on it. He said: 'O Allah, protect him from me and protect me from him.' Then he said: 'O Umm Khalid, this is the wool and these are the marks of the sheep.' Umm Khalid said: 'My father said: 'My mother told me that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever says: *A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq* (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created), will be protected from all harmful things until he moves to another place.'
