بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

When to Read
This powerful dua is recommended to be recited three times in the morning and three times in the evening. It serves as a comprehensive shield against all forms of harm, including the subtle mischief and whispers that can be instigated by jinns and Shaytan.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere intention and full conviction in Allah's power to protect. Utter it clearly, focusing on the meaning of each word. Believe that Allah's protection is absolute when sought sincerely. It is best to say it upon waking in the morning and before sleeping at night, or at any time one feels a sense of unease or vulnerability.
Virtues & Benefits
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ informed us about the immense virtue of this dua. He stated that whoever recites it three times in the morning will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening, and whoever recites it three times in the evening will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the morning. This protection encompasses physical harm, ill-health, and spiritual disturbance, including the whispers and attempts at misguidance from jinns and Shaytan. (Sahih al-Bukhari 7/147, Sahih Muslim 4/2290).

Narrated by Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He who says: 'Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing) - three times, will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the morning comes, and whoever says it in the morning three times will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening comes.'
