Protection
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 2739

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuja'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatek.

Believe that Allah is All-Hearing and will respond to your sincere plea. It is best to recite this dua in the morning and evening, as it encompasses seeking refuge from various forms of harm and divine displeasure.

Virtues & Benefits

This supplication offers immense protection by seeking refuge in Allah from the most destructive of outcomes: the loss of His favors, the withdrawal of His well-being, the unexpected onset of His wrath, and His ultimate anger. By asking for refuge from these, one is essentially asking for Allah's continuous grace, support, and satisfaction, which shields them from falling into calamities, including unjust punishment, and keeps them on the path of His pleasure.
