اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure sustenance, and accepted deeds.

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.

When to Read

This powerful dua is especially potent when seeking Allah's provision. It's recommended to recite it after the Fajr (dawn) prayer, a time when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would often supplicate. Reciting it when you feel a need for provision, or simply as a regular part of your morning routine, ensures you're consistently asking Allah for what is best.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and conviction. Raise your hands in supplication as the Prophet ﷺ used to do. Begin by praising Allah and sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. Then, ask for the three things mentioned: beneficial knowledge that leads you closer to Allah, pure and lawful sustenance that nourishes your body and soul, and deeds that are accepted by Him. Believe that Allah hears your dua and will respond in the best way, even if it's not immediately apparent.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua encapsulates a holistic request for well-being in this life and the next. Beneficial knowledge guides us and protects us from misguidance. Pure sustenance is crucial for our worship to be accepted and for our bodies to be strong in obedience to Allah. Accepted deeds are the ultimate goal, as they are what will weigh heavily on our scales on the Day of Judgment. This dua is a comprehensive request for spiritual and material prosperity, ensuring that our provisions are blessed and our actions are pleasing to Allah.
