There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is ever-living and never dies. In His hand is all good, and He is competent over all things.

Narrated by 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever enters the market and says: 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyi wa yumitu wa huwa hayyun la yamutu, biyadhihil khairu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.' (There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is ever-living and never dies. In His hand is all good, and He is competent over all things.) Allah will write for him a million good deeds, and will erase from him a million evil deeds, and will raise him a million ranks.' (Sahih Muslim 1373)
