O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and the resolve to follow the right path. I ask You for the things that earn Your mercy, and the means to Your forgiveness. I ask You to make me grateful for Your favors and to enable me to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. O Allah, teach me guidance and protect me from the evil of myself.

Allahumma inni as'alukath-thabata fil-amr, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushd, wa as'aluka muujibaati rahmatik, wa hawaa'iza maghfiratik, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matik, wa husna 'ibaadatik, wa as'aluka qalban saleeman, wa lisaanan saadiqan, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma ta'lam, wa as'aluka khaira ma ta'lam, wa astaghfiruka mimma ta'lam. Allahumma 'allimni al-huda, wa qini sharra nafsi.
