In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. O Allah, Arranger of affairs, arrange between our hearts.

Virtues & Benefits

The first part, 'Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adhaban-nar,' is a comprehensive supplication from the Quran that asks for the best in this life and the next, and protection from hellfire. It covers all aspects of a believer's needs. The second part, 'Allahumma mu'allifal-qulub, alfif bayna qalbaina,' specifically invokes Allah as the One who brings hearts together, asking Him to foster love, harmony, and understanding between spouses. This is crucial when navigating the challenges that life transitions can bring to a marriage.
