اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Jahannam, and from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabi Jahannama, wa min 'adhab al-qabri, wa min fitnatil mahya wal mamati, wa min sharri fitnatil Masihid Dajjal.

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to teach them this supplication just as he used to teach them a Surah of the Qur'an. He would say: 'Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the Fire (Jahannam) and seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave. And seek refuge with Allah from the tribulations which happen during the time of Dajjal, and seek refuge with Allah from the tribulations of life and death.'
