O Allah, I seek refuge in You from pride, envy, lust, caprice, anger, heedlessness, poverty, humiliation, helplessness, ignorance, greed, malice, delusion, lying, injustice, severing ties, evil, corruption, and disgrace in this world and the next. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all of that.

The Prophet ๏ทบ said: "No one who has the weight of a mustard seed of pride in his heart will enter Paradise." (Sahih Muslim 91). Narrated Abdullah: The Prophet ๏ทบ said, "He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise." A person with disheveled hair and dusty coat stood up and said, "O Allah's Messenger! What about a person who likes his clothes and his shoes to look good?" The Prophet ๏ทบ said, "Allah does not like that person who is proud and conceited." (Sahih Muslim 91). Another narration states: 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported: The Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said: "He who has in his heart the weight of a barley grain of pride, Allah would not look at him on the Day of Resurrection, nor purify him, and he would have a painful torment."
