Dua for Allah's Mercy on Deceased Loved Ones During Tahajjud

Night Worship & Tahajjud
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 159

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present among us and those who are absent. Forgive our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever You give life to among us, keep him alive on Islam, and whoever You cause to die among us, cause him to die on faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of its (Islam's) reward and do not lead us astray after it.

Allahumma-ghfir li-ahya'ina wa amwatina, wa shahidina wa gha'ibina, wa saghirina wa kabirina, wa dhakarinā wa unthana. Allahumma man ah-yaytahu minna fa-ahyihi 'alal-Islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa-tawaffahu 'alal-iman.

It can be made anytime during Tahajjud, especially after finishing your prayers.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When any one of you offers funeral prayer, he should supplicate: O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present among us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever You give life to among us, keep him alive on Islam, and whoever You cause to die among us, cause him to die on faith.
