Narrated by Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'When a person goes out of his house saying: Bismillahi, tawakkaltu alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. It is said to him: 'You are guided, you are taken care of, and you are in no need of anything.' So the devil keeps away from him.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5095). This hadith indicates that when we utter these words with sincerity, angels are appointed to guide and protect us, and Shaytan is repelled.
