O Allah, bless my wealth and the fruit of my work, and make it grow for me like vegetation until it becomes abundant provisions.
Allahumma barik li fi mali wa thamarati 'amali wa anbit-hu li kama tunbitun-nabata hatta yusbiha arzaqan kathirah.
When to Read
This dua is perfect for reciting right before you make your initial investment, or at the start of any new financial venture. It's also fitting when you receive income from a new source. Recite it with the intention of seeking Allah's blessing and growth in your financial endeavors.
How to Read
Begin with sincerity and focus. You can raise your hands slightly, as is customary in supplication. Utter the words clearly, reflecting on their meaning. It's also beneficial to follow this with other duas for provision and protection, and to ensure your investment itself is in a permissible (halal) sector.
Virtues & Benefits
This supplication directly asks Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) for blessings (barakah) in wealth and the fruits of one's labor. The simile of growing vegetation highlights the desire for sustained, natural, and abundant growth. Seeking Allah's blessing is the surest way to ensure prosperity and protect against loss. As the Quran reminds us, '...and whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will replace it, and He is the best of providers.' (34:39).

Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to supplicate: 'Allahumma barik li fi mali wa thamarati 'amali wa anbit-hu li kama tunbitun-nabata hatta yusbiha arzaqan kathirah.' (O Allah, bless my wealth and the fruit of my work, and make it grow for me like vegetation until it becomes abundant provisions.)
