When the Prophet (peace be upon him) woke up, he would say: ‘Allahu Akbar! Glory be to Allah! Amongst His praises, there is no god but Allah! I seek Allah’s forgiveness and I turn to Him in repentance.’ And when he went to bed, he would say similar words. And when he woke up in the morning, he would say: ‘O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, and goodly provision, and accepted deeds.’
