Hasan HadithSunan Abu Dawud 5068

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ.

O Allah, by Your grace we have reached the morning, and by Your grace we will reach the evening. By Your grace we live, and by Your grace we die, and to You is the final return.

Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namootu, wa ilaykan-nushoor.

Source & Authentication

Narrated by Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say when he reached the morning: 'Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namootu, wa ilaykan-nushoor. And when he reached the evening, he would say: Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namootu, wa ilaykan-maseer.' (Sunan Abu Dawud 5068, graded Hasan by some scholars).
