الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

All praise is for Allah, Who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana wa ilaihin-nushoor

Narrated by Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When you go to your bed, you should recite the verse: 'Al-Baqarah: 286' (La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha...). When you wake up, you should recite: 'Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana wa ilaihin-nushoor.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6312)
