In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those You have blessed, not of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who are astray.

When to Read

This essential recitation is meant to be recited as part of the morning remembrance (Adhkar as-Sabah). It's a foundational practice, reminding us that every day begins with seeking Allah's guidance and protection through His magnificent words. Making it a habit each morning sets a positive and protected tone for the day ahead.

How to Read

Recite Surah Al-Fatiha with full concentration and sincerity, understanding its profound meaning as a prayer to Allah. Begin with the Bismillah and recite all seven verses. It is recommended to recite it at least once, as it forms the core of the morning supplications and prayers.

Virtues & Benefits

While Surah Al-Fatiha is fundamental to our daily prayers (Salah) and is often referred to as the 'Mother of the Book' (Umm al-Kitab) and the 'Seven Oft-Repeated Verses' (As-Sab' al-Mathani), its recitation in the morning provides a powerful spiritual shield. Its constant recitation ensures that the believer is continuously under Allah's care, seeking His guidance on the straight path and protection from deviation and misguidance. The very act of engaging with its verses is an act of worship that brings immense blessings and closeness to Allah.
