Narrated Safwan bin Assal (may Allah be pleased with him): Some Jews asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, 'What is the best provision for us?' He replied: 'O Jews, what you have been given is small, but the best provision is the provision of the Hereafter.' Then the Prophet ﷺ said: 'And when the servant wakes up in the morning, saying: Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provisions, and accepted deeds), then he is protected from any mishap that occurs on that day.' (Recorded by Ibn Majah and graded Sahih by Al-Albani).
