Source & Authentication

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say when he began his prayer: 'Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika, wa tabarakasmuka, wa ta'ala jadduka, wa la ilaha ghayruk.' (Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You; blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty; there is no god but You.) And when he concluded his prayer, he would say: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.' (O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, provision that is pure, and deeds that are accepted.)
