Virtues & Benefits

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised a magnificent reward for those who recite this specific supplication in the morning. He said: "Whoever says: 'I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,' it is incumbent upon Allah that He should be pleased with him." (Sahih Muslim 111). This means that by sincerely uttering these words, we earn Allah's pleasure, which is arguably the greatest aspiration a believer can have. It’s a powerful reminder that our contentment stems from our acceptance of Allah's dominion and His chosen way of life.

Source & Authentication

It was narrated from Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He who says: 'A'udhu billahis-samee'il-aleemi minash-shaydanir-rajeem' (I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan) three times, and then recites the last three verses of Surah Al-Hashr, Allah appoints 70,000 angels to pray for him until the evening, and if he dies on that day, he dies as a martyr. And he who says when he wakes up in the morning: 'Raditu billahi Rabba, wa bil-Islami deena, wa bi-Muhammadin Nabiyya' (I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet), it is incumbent upon Allah that He should be pleased with him."
