O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, and from the evil of Satan and his polytheism, and I seek refuge in You from every good You have bestowed upon me, or from any of Your creation, or that I associate anything with You, or that I purify myself.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri nafsi, wa min sharri sh-shaytani wa shirkih, wa a'udhu bika min kulli khayrin a'taytanihi, aw la ahadun min khalqik, aw an yushrika bika shay'an, aw an yuzakkiya nafsi

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us a supplication to make when we are displeased, and a supplication to make when we enter our homes, and a supplication to make when we enter the marketplace, and a supplication to make when we enter the morning, and a supplication to make when we enter the evening, and a supplication to make when we enter our sleeping place. He then mentioned the supplication: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, and from the evil of Satan and his polytheism, and I seek refuge in You from every good You have bestowed upon me, or from any of Your creation, or that I associate anything with You, or that I purify myself.' I (Abdullah ibn Amr) said: 'This is difficult to enumerate.' He said: 'Do you know what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he saw the crescent?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Allah is the greatest! O Allah, make it a new moon of safety and strength, my Lord and your Lord, Allah! O Allah, bring it to us with security and faith, and safety and Islam, and grant us ability to follow Your Book and Your Sunnah. O Allah, make it a moon of blessings upon us, and guide us, and give us guidance, and make us among the righteous.' He then mentioned the supplication: 'O Allah, grant me well-being in my body. O Allah, grant me well-being in my hearing. O Allah, grant me well-being in my sight. There is no god but You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave. There is no god but You.'
