All praise is due to Allah Who created me and proportioned me, taught me and provided for me, satisfied me and gave me to drink, strengthened me and gave me shelter. I ask You by Your Majesty that You may grant me honor, and by Your Face that You may turn me towards good. I ask You to make my consequence good in all matters, and to save me from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter.

Narrated Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When a person gets up in the morning, all the parts of his body supplicate to his tongue, saying: 'Fear Allah for us, for we are dependent on you. If you are upright, we are upright, and if you are crooked, we are crooked.' (Then he mentioned the following dua): 'All praise is due to Allah Who created me and proportioned me, taught me and provided for me, satisfied me and gave me to drink, strengthened me and gave me shelter.
