اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَنِيْ فَسَوَّانِيْ، وَعَلَّمَنِيْ فَأَحْسَنَ صَوْرَتِيْ، وَرَزَقَنِيْ فَأَطْعَمَنِيْ وَسَقَانِيْ، وَأَطْعَمَنِيْ وَسَقَانِيْ، وَأَعْطَانِيْ كُلَّ نِعْمَةٍ خَلَقَنِيْ، وَأَكْرَمَنِيْ، وَلَمْ يُهِنِّيْ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ، اَللّٰهُمَّ كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِيْ فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِيْ، وَحَرِّمْ وَجْهِيْ عَلَى النَّارِ.

All praise is due to Allah Who created me and fashioned me, taught me and gave me the best form, and provided for me and gave me to drink. All praise is due to Allah in every state. O Allah, just as You have made my form beautiful, so make my character beautiful, and forbid my face from the Fire.

Alḥamdulillāhi alladhī khalaqanī fa-sawwānanī, wa 'allamanī fa-aḥsana ṣūratī, wa razaqanī fa-aṭ'amanī wa saqānī, wa a'ṭānī kulla ni'matin khalaqanī, wa akramanī, wa lam yuhinnī. Alḥamdulillāhi 'alā kulli ḥāl. Allāhumma kamā ḥassanta khalqī, fa-ḥassin khuluqī, wa ḥarrim wajhī 'alan-nār.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say when he looked in the mirror: 'Alḥamdulillāhi alladhī khalaqanī fa-sawwānanī, wa 'allamanī fa-aḥsana ṣūratī, wa razaqanī fa-aṭ'amanī wa saqānī, wa a'ṭānī kulla ni'matin khalaqanī, wa akramanī, wa lam yuhinnī.
