Loneliness & Isolation
Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 6369

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the subduing of men.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal

Recite this dua during moments of loneliness, isolation, or when feeling overwhelmed by difficulties. It's particularly potent when feeling a sense of helplessness or when external pressures contribute to your solitude. How to Read

With sincerity and full conviction in Allah's power to alleviate your struggles. Raise your hands as you would in supplication and focus on the meaning of each phrase. Imagine Allah hearing your plea and responding to it. It is recommended to say this four times, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would often seek refuge in Allah from these things.
