يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ

O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not entrust me to my own self for the span of an eye blink.

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyumu bi-rahmatika astagheethu, aslih li sha'ni kullahu, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata 'ayn.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Fatimah bint Abu Hubaysh (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "When the blood of menstruation is light, it prevents one from praying. When it is heavy, she should perform Wudu and pray." Then he said to her: "Indeed the saliva of a woman (meaning the blood) is not a pollutant." He said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her): 'What is this?' She said: 'A mat that I have woven.' He said: 'If you are able to not let anyone intervene between you and your mat, then do so.'" He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught his daughters and his wives this supplication: "O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not entrust me to my own self for the span of an eye blink."
