اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted.
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.
When to Read
When the weight of loneliness settles due to chronic illness or physical limitations, and you feel disconnected from others. This dua can be recited at any time, but is particularly potent after Fajr prayer, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would supplicate for these things.
How to Read
Recite with sincerity and a humble heart. Picture yourself receiving beneficial knowledge that helps you understand your situation better, finding provisions (both material and spiritual) that bring ease, and performing actions that are pleasing to Allah. Recognize that connection with Allah is the ultimate source of comfort and strength.
Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive supplication, taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, asks for three vital elements for a fulfilling life and a strong connection with our Creator. Beneficial knowledge can help us navigate challenges with wisdom, goodly provision brings ease and contentment, and accepted deeds are our true wealth in the Hereafter. When facing loneliness, focusing on seeking Allah's acceptance and understanding can shift our perspective, reminding us that our relationship with Him is paramount and can fill the void of human connection.
