O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try a people, then take me to Yourself without being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayratik, wa tark munkaratik, wa hubb al-masakin, wa an taghfir li wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnatan fi qawmin fa tawaffani ghayra maftun. Wa as'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught me a comprehensive supplication: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka al-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness). He also taught me the following: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayratik, wa tark munkaratik, wa hubb al-masakin, wa an taghfir li wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnatan fi qawmin fa tawaffani ghayra maftun. Wa as'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik.' (O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try a people, then take me to Yourself without being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.) [Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book 4, Hadith 55]
