O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of all things, the opener of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion (Quran). I seek refuge in You from the evil of all things You are holding the forelock of. O Allah, You are the First, and nothing is before You; You are the Last, and nothing is after You; You are the Apparent, and nothing is above You; You are the Hidden, and nothing is nearer than You. Discharge my debt and enrich me from poverty. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness.
Allahumma Rabba as-samawati wa Rabba al-ard, Rabba kulli shay', faliq al-habbi wa an-nawa, wa munzila at-tawrati wal-injili wal-furqan. A'udhu bika min sharri kulli shay'in anta akhidun bi nasiyatihi. Allahumma Anta al-Awwalu falaysa qablaka shay', wa Anta al-Akhiru falaysa ba'daka shay', wa Anta az-Zahiru falaysa fawqaka shay', wa Anta al-Batinu falaysa duna ka shay'. Iqdi 'anni ad-dayna wa aghnini min al-faqr. Allahumma inni as'aluk al-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina.

Narrated by Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): A debt-owing man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am afraid that my debt might lead me to the Hellfire." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Shall I not teach you a supplication which, if you are suffering from a debt like Mount Uhud, Allah will make it easy for you to pay?" He said: "Yes, please." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Say: Allahumma Rabba as-samawati wa Rabba al-ard, Rabba kulli shay', faliq al-habbi wa an-nawa, wa munzila at-tawrati wal-injili wal-furqan. A'udhu bika min sharri kulli shay'in anta akhidun bi nasiyatihi.
