Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik

When to Read

This dua is recommended to be recited after fulfilling your prayers and intentions within the masjid, as you prepare to leave. It's a beautiful way to carry the blessings of the house of Allah with you into your daily life.

How to Read

Recite this once after your obligatory or voluntary prayers in the Masjid, just before stepping out. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this concise yet powerful supplication.

Virtues & Benefits

This simple yet profound dua acknowledges that all good things and provisions come from Allah alone. By asking for His bounty as you leave the place of worship, you are essentially asking Allah to grant you ease, guidance, and success in whatever you will encounter outside. It sets a positive intention for your day, seeking Allah's continuous support and blessings.

Source & Authentication

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed, Allah has portions of His bounty, and He gives to whomever He wills of His servants. And indeed, from the most excellent of those who ask for His bounty is a man who asks Allah for Paradise and seeks refuge in Him from the Fire. And indeed, the supplication of a servant is more excellent than his deed. And indeed, the most excellent of what is asked is the bounty of Allah, and the most excellent of what is sought is the bounty of Allah.' Then he said: 'O Allah, indeed I ask of Your bounty.' And he said it three times. (Sahih Muslim 1301)
