اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ.
O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty.
Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.
When to Read
This dua is recited upon exiting the Masjid, after completing your prayers or other religious activities within the mosque. It's a beautiful way to carry the spiritual atmosphere with you as you re-enter the world, seeking Allah's continued blessings in your daily life.
How to Read
Recite this with sincerity as you take your steps out of the mosque. It's often recommended to exit with your right foot first, just as you enter with your left. The focus should be on the humility of asking Allah for His grace, recognizing that all good comes from Him.
Virtues & Benefits
This short but profound dua encapsulates a Muslim's reliance on Allah. It acknowledges that any spiritual benefit gained within the masjid is from Allah's immense grace, and it seeks to extend that grace into the everyday affairs outside. It reminds us that even after performing acts of worship, our needs are still met by Allah's bounty, encouraging a mindset of constant gratitude and supplication. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself, when leaving the masjid, would often make dua asking for Allah's grace, setting a powerful example of seeking His blessings in all circumstances.

Narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did not leave any Masjid or leave anything in it, but he would say: "O Allah, grant us good in it, and good of what it contains, and seek refuge in Thee from its evil and the evil of what it contains." And when he left the Masjid, he would say: "O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty." (Sahih Muslim 1303)
