اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

O Allah, I ask of You from Your bounty.

Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik

When to Read

This beautiful dua is recited upon exiting the Masjid. As we step out, leaving the sanctuary of Allah's house, our responsibilities in the world begin anew. This prayer is our way of asking Allah to bless our endeavors outside the mosque and help us earn our livelihood through lawful means.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When anyone of you finishes his prayer in his Masjid, let him say when he goes out: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik. For indeed, I am asking of your bounty.'
