The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "When a person says: 'Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (In the name of Allah, I rely upon Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah), it is said to him: 'You are guided, defended and your need is met.' Then Satan says: 'How can I get to a man whom I have guided, defended and whose need has been met?'" (Sahih al-Tirmidhi 3404, graded Hasan by Al-Albani). This implies that reciting it not only brings protection but also ensures that one's needs are addressed through Allah's grace.

Narrated by Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When a person says: 'Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah', it is said to him: 'Kufíta (enough for you), Wa Wukíta (you are protected), Wa Hadíta (you are guided).' So the devil keeps away from him." Another narration states: "It is said to him: 'You are guided, defended and your need is met.' Then Satan says: 'How can I get to a man whom I have guided, defended and whose need has been met?'"
