Virtues & Benefits
This supplication carries immense blessings. By saying it, you are entrusting all your affairs to Allah, acknowledging His absolute power and control. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that when one says this, it is said to them: 'You are guided, defended, and your needs are met.' This means Allah will suffice you, guide you to what's best, and protect you from all harm. It's a beautiful way to ensure peace of mind and divine assistance during a potentially stressful transition.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When a person goes out of his house saying: Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. (In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah.) It will be said to him: 'You have been sufficed, defended, and guided.'
