Source & Authentication

Narrated Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “When a person goes out of his house and says: ‘Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah’ (In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah), it is said to him: ‘You are guided, you are taken care of, and you are defended.’ So that the devils turn away from him. One of the devils is told: ‘What can you do with a man who has been guided, taken care of and defended?’
