اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي، وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي، وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا

O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, and teach me what benefits me, and increase me in knowledge.

Allahumma infa'ni bima 'allamtani, wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni, wa zidni 'ilman

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah, teach me what is beneficial for me, and increase me in knowledge. All praise is due to Allah in the first and the last. O Allah, I ask You for the guidance, piety, chastity and self-sufficiency.' (This hadith is a command to seek beneficial knowledge and is found in Sunan Ibn Majah and other collections, graded Hasan by scholars.)
