اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا

O Allah, make beneficial for me what You have taught me, teach me what is beneficial for me, and increase me in knowledge.

Allahumma anfa'ni bima 'allamtani wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni wa zidni 'ilman

Ensure you are in a state of purity (Wudu) if possible.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught this dua to his companion Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him). It is narrated that when Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) had learned something, he would say: 'O Allah, make beneficial for me what You have taught me, teach me what is beneficial for me, and increase me in knowledge.' (Sunan Ibn Majah 3833)
